I named this Green Smoothie after the habit of drinking it everyday. Well, almost. With the sporadic occasion of running out of kale or spinach, or craving an Açai Bowl. I find it’s super practical to drink the same juice every day. But to avoid getting tired of it, I listen to my body when it asks for something else.
The Daily Green, is one of my favorite green combinations. It’s just the right sweet and spice + I’m drinking highly alkaline vegetables full of water, enzymes and vitamins. Oh! and in almost every health store they make their own version of the The Daily Green! –Awesome.
You can always substitute the Banana for a Green Apple, or Pine Apple or Peaches. This is the only thing that varies when I drink it.
The Daily Green Smoothie
– 3 Stalks of Celery
– 1/2 Cucumber, peeled
– 1 Handful of Spinach and Kale, or just one of the two
– 1″ of Ginger, peeled
– A Sweet Fruit: A Banana, or a Green Apple, or 1 C of Pine Apple or Peaches. They can be frozen. If not, you can throw 2-3 cubes of ice. Totally optional.
– 16 o.z of Coconut Water
– Throw all ingredients in blender. Blend at high speed. Serve, sip and enjoy!
