Vegan and GF Squash Waffles with Almond Butter Cream

Why do I encourage cooking at home? Because you are what you eat. You can take those words to the fullest extent of their meaning. Think about the people that eat at fast food restaurants, people that consume meat and animals from factory farms. That energy, from the torture and suffering of the animals gets passed onto the plate and into the people that eat them. You are what you eat. The food that we eat is reflected in our skin, energy and health. If you want to control your health, you have to control the food that you are inserting into that sacred temple of yours called body. By cooking at home, we can choose the freshest, organic, non processed foods and be in control of your future.

Tell me in what restaurant you are gonna find anything remotely similar to these refined sugar free, naturally gluten free and vegan Zucchini Waffles? Only in the comfort of your kitchen. So let’s make some!

Vegan, Gluten Free Squash Waffles

  • Servings: 2 People
  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Print

– 1 Shredded Squash
– 1 C of GF Oat Flour
3 Flax Eggs
– 1 Tbsp of Cinnamon
– 1 Tbsp of Coconut Oil
– 1 Tbsp of Maple Syrup
– 1 Tsp of Vanilla Extract

– Mis ingredients in a food processor. Follow instructions of your waffle maker. Use a high or highest temperature available. 

Almond Butter Cream

  • Servings: 3 Plates
  • Difficulty: Super Easy
  • Print

– 4 Tbsp of Almond Butter. If you choose a Raw Almond Butter this cream will be Raw!
– 2 Tbsp of Homemade Almond Milk
– 1 Tbsp of Maple Syrup

– Mix in food processor. Serve! Or keep remaining cream in an air tight container to pair up with future dishes!
