Did you know that if you eat raw for two straight years, you will be in permanent state of detoxication? Think about that! Last week I was doing a Raw Cleanse that got interrupted, unfortunately. I got sick from a stomach bug that’s going around. The good news is just by eating raw for straight 4 days something inside (and outside) of me changed. I felt an intense sense of love and protection towards my body. After the cleanse it was easier for me to make the right choices, to distinguish what’s good or bad for me.
Later on that week, I was studying and researching on raw foods. I played a video from my school program where David Wolfe talked about Raw and Superfoods. To my surprise, and as if the universe had aligned the right tools and signs in front of me, he said it:
“Raw Foods help create an Awareness within You. Either if you believe it or Not”
That’s exactly how I feel now!
My Raw Cleanse woke up an intense interest and passion in Live Foods. I’m hooked! And you are gonna see a bunch of new Raw Recipes and information on it in my blog, like this one!
Below, how to make Raw Strawberry Chia Pudding. It takes 5-7 minutes to make. I recommend making it before taking a shower, or as you are cleaning the dishes etc… The pudding needs to sit for 20 minutes to allow the chia seeds to grow.
Raw Strawberry Chia Pudding
– 1 C of Homemade Almond Milk
– 1/3 C of Chia Seeds
– 7-8 Strawberries
– 1 Tsp of Vanilla Extract
– 1 Tsp of Cinnamon
– Throw in blender all ingredients except for chia seeds. Blend.
– Pour mix in mason jar, or air tight container. Add chia. Cover and shake it.
– Open it up and wait let it sit for 20 min.
– Come back. Cover mason jar, Shake it one more time. Open up and enjoy! Or keep it closed and take it to work for a midday snack!
