Verde Farm opens its doors on March 12th at Sunset, welcoming you with a tour around the farm followed up with a candle lit, cozy and intimate dinner at the Verde Kitchen Cafe.

Chef Pamela Wasabi will use fresh picked farm ingredients composing a savory five-course plant based Colombian inspired gourmet dinner to be paired with complementary Wynwood Brewery drafts.

About Urban Oasis Project

Creating a local food movement in Miami since 2009 accessible to all, Urban Oasis Project now manages the Upper Eastside Farmers Market and offers the Florida Access Bucks program at 4 markets to accept SNAP benefits and double their value.  They’ve planted over 100 free gardens in Miami with low-income families, and host workshops and educational events to promote sustainability and health.


About Pamela Wasabi
Plant Based Chef and Educator

Pamela Wasabi is an industry leading plant based chef, certified health coach, psychology of eating counselor and a Mother. It’s her mission to help people heal their body and soul by eating a in a harmonious way that’s in accordance with Nature and their lifestyle. Today, she shares her expertise worldwide, offering lectures, workshops, classes and her high-end culinary expertise. It’s her purpose to educate, motivate and inspire others on the journey of restoring their relationship with food.

Wasabi has worked in the past for Choices Café, Oolite Restaurant & Bar, Jugo Fresh, Dr.Smood, Matthew Kenney, FitFoot (Madrid, Spain), SEED Festival 2014, 2015, Conscious Bite Out Pop up Dinner Events, in the various roles of raw, baking, pastry, plant based chef and educator.


About Verde Farm
Verde Farm and Market is an organic farm designed to create good food, skills training and jobs for the formerly homeless community living at Verde Gardens. This holistic approach teaches connection with our food and nutrition in a supportive environment. Verde Farms produce is found at the Upper Eastside Farmers Market, SW Community Farmers Market, Las Olas Farmers Market and the Adrienne Arsht Center Market, and is also available as a weekly farmshare.  Verde Farm and Market are managed by Carrfour Supportive Housing as part of the Verde Gardens Community, designed as permanent assisted housing for formerly homeless families.
