Urban Oasis Project Presents Dinner at Sunset by Chef Pamela Wasabi

Cooking gifted my with a sense of awareness and presence I didn’t know it existed. Better said, I had forgotten in the midst of our fast pace life, and the habit of thinking that busy is the new black. Cooking made me aware of my body and my choices, and it’s that gift of presence, of celebrating one’s life and health that I intend to communicate with my cuisine. Michael Pollan said it best “When we started cooking, we became more Human”

Thank you all for joining us this past Saturday at Verde Farm for our second Dinner at Sunset Event, Mexican Inspired Plant Based dinner. I hope that I have the pleasure of cooking for you again, or have you at one of my next dinners for the first time.

Love and Gratitude,
Pamela Wasabi

Event sponsored by SEED Food and Wine Festival, Zignum Mezcal. In collaboration with Counter Culture Kombucha, band performance by The Hours Strange. Thank you to Verde Farm, and Urban Oasis Project. Photography by Levie Creative
